BROKER BULLSHIT

How much for these, Jay? Photo: Finkelstein.

I'm trying to get tickets to the Hartford show, and me and my friend Charles were on two telephones and two computers trying to get tickets the day of the sale and were completely shut out, as were tons of other fans.

We never saw any seating down on the floor available, and I'm drawing a conclusion that many, many of these seats were not available because of brokers. I contacted a couple of brokers via the Internet, and found tickets to the Hartford show have become as valuable as a down payment for a house or a car. Below is an email between me and a mentally retarded customer service (ha!) rep from showtime tickets (www.showtimetickets.com).

I would highly recommend emailing Jay, the broker or contacting local law enforcement agencies about the atrocity of the pricing of a face value $81 ticket.

Following is the pricing you have requested with the pricing shown being per ticket, I hope you find it helpful...

2 seats, row 1 = $1250.00
2 seats, row 2 = $1100.00
2 seats, row 3 = $1000.00
2 seats, row 4 = $900.00
2 seats, row 5 = $850.00
2 seats, row 6 = $750.00
2 seats, row 7 = $700.00
2 seats, row 8 = $650.00
2 seats, row 9 = $595.00
2 seats, row 10 = $550.00
2 seats anywhere in the first 20 rows, general = $225.00
3 seats anywhere in the first 20 rows, general = $275.00

I will be more than happy to try and assist you at any time.

Sincerely,
