SNA HOME

About one song into it on the aisle seat, this HUGE Elite security guard came over to me and caught me off guard from behind and said something like, "I saw you taking too many photos at the Hollywood Bowl the other night. You are too close with that camera. If you don't put it away and stop taking photos I'm going to have the whole place shut down and you're going out." Or something like that. So in my humbleness and wantingness to not a. get booted out of my favorite venue and b. to save the camera AND the photos that I already had, I, er, um, turned it off and shoved it down my pants out of sight. Then a few minutes later I got booted out of THAT seat and succombed to going back to my "assigned auction seat." Which I really didn't mind. I was getting seriously hassled because of who I was and what I was doing. Obviously, the vest made me that target. But so be it! I kept the camera inoperative for quite a long time after that. I waited until it got dark later into the first set, then had the courage to break it out very quickly for a few shots here and there.
