SNA HOME

Irvine Meadows is my favorite venue. I have no idea why, but for some reason since the first time I went there, I've really enjoyed every show I've ever seen there. I guess it's just one of those places. I feel really relaxed and comfortable and familiar with the place - don't really know how to describe it.BR>

I also know it's one of the hardest venues in the country to get tickets to. For years and years I got skunked to the loge or the terrace or the lawn. But that's changed a bit the last few tours. One has to go to extreme methods of getting good seats at Irvine. So this year I hesitantly decided to try out Tickequacker's Premium Seat Auction when that became available and rolled the bones (literally) and put down my maximum bid pretty early on in the auction for two seats. At auction end I had some pretty decent Orchestra 3 seats in row 14. I considered it to be a total score for the price I paid and the convenience of just walking into the venue without having to worry about other "Alternative Ticket Procurement Methods." This photo was NOT taken from my seat, however! Because I scammed into Orchestra 2 (center) for about four songs and fired away with the camera before I got booted out of the seat.
