Tonight was a very different night for me. First of all, I was bringing JB to her first show at the Bowl, and that was totally cool. Turning someone on to Hollywood Bowl is really, really fun. Especially if you guide her right up to the rail and she can almost reach out and touch Geddy. The second order of business is that I upgraded my digital camera a couple of months ago. I've used a Fujifilm A201 2mp camera for many years, but NOT at concerts. I've always used 35mm film at concerts. But tonight I brought my Cannon A530 5mp camera with me to experiment and see if I could actually capture some digital images in addition to shooting film. The plan was to shoot film, and then just fool around with the digital to see if I could get it to work in the changing lighting conditions.
