FEEDBACK - From the FANS, NOT the CD!

Great pictures from the recent Rush show! Thanks for sharing them. I'm assuming you kept the flash off, right? I'm going in August, was thinking about bringing my dig cam... I'm in row 'u' on the floor so I might be able to get some good pics. Not sure if security will mind or not. Regards, Russ

Just ran across your Rush website...very impressive! I looked at your ticket stubs and I was at the Astrodome in 1984 as well! Scott, Houston, TX

Here is my daughter holding my drumsticks for the first time. I am already getting her hooked on Rush. She loves music and she is already recognizing Rush songs. I thought you might think it was cute! Keep in Touch. Jamie (the guy from St. Louis).

Thank you, Jman!! We have a great traffic here.. I mean, we have a great number of fans that visit t4e. We all hope they come here again... Your pictures are on our gallery!! Thanks again!!

hey, jman!! thanks for the internet publicity!! i think the three of us look great together!! hope kc rocked like the rest of them!! john and i can't wait til the reactions we get in phoenix and las vegas!! BTW, we ended up getting 12th row on geddy's side in STL. heard you settled for lawn. bummer. let me know if you have any patches for trade/sale. dan (patch jacket), and john (pin jacket).

jman, just a quick note. i have never emailed you but i often visit your site for updates. i have to say, as do you, this picture on your start page is just fucking brilliant! and "Between the Wheels" to boot. when i heard they were playing that song this tour, i was pleased. best wishes, ps: wow dude! great picture. - Job H.

Hey man--nice Shots. Saw your website in a post on STG and had to reply Between the Wheels has been my favorite Rush song since grace was released my Senior year of high school. I d/l the show from Nashville within hours of its upload and have prolly made 40 whole copies and spread that fob around bigtime. I was FREAKED OUT when I realized that BTW was gonna be at this show--dreamed of it for years. THEN, one of the security guards comes and gets my group from our vip box and leads us STRAIGHT TO THE FRONT ROW right as Secret Touch was playing. I knew this was before BTW as I have listened to the show a ton already and was already stoked enough :) Barely been there a minute when Geddy said this is one we haven't done much or something to that effect and they ripped it out. I was left speechless. Seen that band over 20 times since my first show that had Molly Hatchett opening for them (3/79, Chattanooga--"Tour of the Hemispheres" St. Louis was a definite killer night! Unfortunately, even as much a photo geek as I am, I could never have taken photos during BTW :) But I did during La Villa, Xanadu, and Working Man. Thanks again for the site--many people don't realize the time it takes to do that stuff...

I've been enjoying your site for a few months now. Great shots and newspaper articles on Rush. Your work on the site is appreciated. Just wanted to get some of your thoughts on this tour. Being from the Vancouver, BC area, I am a little disappointed with the fact that Rush is only playing two dates and two venues in Canada. The entire Canadian west isn't going to see a single show. And while I can afford to go to Seattle, I know many people here are concerned about the political climate in the States - i.e., security. Any thoughts? I've tried Rush's management company and they've kept quiet on the issue. Thanks, Sam

I figured out after I wrote that you were the one in the middle from other/earlier shots you had on your site. I think your vest is cool and you shouldn't feel at all inferior to those other dudes--the REST of the fans are inferior to ALL Three of ya's b/c you put some serious effort and LOVE into that stuff :) I do remember the punk days, btw, as I was WAYY into DK, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Pistols, you name it--the 16 year old in 1981 was WAY into it...but the reason I laughed about the guy on the left was that I could NEVER wear a jacket with a thousand pins pinned to iit. Gotta hand some props to that kid! I like how you listed your concerts. I have been to wayyyyyy too many shows to count over the years... Alfred

jman, Your website totally rocks, been noodling here since VT. I think I saw you at Blossom. I hollered at you, but I kept walking...doh! Keep it up, more pics. Are there more shows for you this tour? I am trying for Las Vegas and Toronto, I live near Pine Knob, age 39. I went to Nashville, Tinley, Pine Knob, and Blossom... need more, need more RUSH!!! Here are 3 pics from third row Nashville. If you like them, you can post them, the one with the high-looking guy is me, note how I am guarding my pop with my life! You can use that one if you crop me out of it...that was 10 minutes before the show. Thanx to Rush Presale for all my tickets. - ET

Hello, Fellow Rush Fan!!! I just wanted to let you know I enjoyed your site and as usual it is great to see we aren't all alone (as Rush fans). Yet, of course WE are all different.

The first thing I noticed while browsing your site was the colors of the gay rainbow under the pics and other places on your site, but I didn't think much of it. Of course gay people don't own the rainbow colors, but it is a symbol that we, and those who are not gay but aware of the symbol are aware of. Then after I read a part of your TFE diaries it turns out you were in Toronto during Gay Pride! But you clearly stated you were hetro. What I recognized and admire most about you is that you did not judge the event, nor gay people at all. You didn't really have any opinion, other than the matter of fact, and the events goings on. I admire you greatly. First off, Gay pride events can be quite in your face, and to some of us an embarrassment. But not much different than the ubiquitous Mardi Gras or Carnival. But harmless nevertheless to those with an open mind. Maybe some things shouldn't be seen by children I agree, just as at those before mentioned worldly events.

Personally as a loyal Rush fan of almost 25 years, and as a person that is gay, it is the cultured people such as yourself that make me proud and love Rush more! Rush never has had an opinion on the matter, but throughout the years several songs have touched upon the issue, mostly in way that only a gay person would recognize, but for sake of respect of diversity, many other people recognized the connotations as well. Rush has always been publicly open minded and sums it up in "Freewill".

Me, I am a flight attendant for one of the worlds largest airlines. My point in all of this is the diversity amongst the loyal Rush fans. I mean, would it ever cross your mind that the flight attendant working on your flight is a loyal Rush fan?! I am sure gay may cross your mind (despite the fact I am not effeminate), but to know this guy working these (or your) 747 on 18 hour flights to Hong Kong or Brasil cant wait to get to his (or HER) hotel room to listen to the latest Rush CD. Or better yet, to know that the flight attendant working in the galley below deck (Galleys that are called "the Pit") sending the (endless) carts up the elevators is down there in shorts listening to Rush in Rio LOL. FYI on several of our 747's, and A340 type of aircraft we have crew lounges and galleys located below deck, next to the cargo. Most don't like to work the "Pit" position. But for me I do as I said above. I change into shorts, get out my Rush CDs and get to work jamming to Rush LOL. You cant really hear it up above because of the engines, but you can hear it in the elevator (or moving closet).

Anyways, I went on way to long on this, sorry, I got carried away. Thanks for the website and mostly the open mind. - Tony

Jordan: How are things going down in sunny San Diego? It doesn't look like my plans for the current tour will lead me down to So Cal, but I hope we run into each other at one of the shows on this tour. I'd love to see the new additions to your jacket. That thing has to weigh a ton now! I don't know if the old Safeway name tag made the cut, however. At this point, I'm only locked and loaded on 3 shows: Nashville (3rd row center), Red Rocks (1st row, in front of Geddy) & Shoreline (13th row on Alex's side, I'm trying to upgrade this one). I am still working on Toronto and if I find good seats without paying too much, I'll try to hit Atlanta as well. How are your tour plans progressing? Also, what's your web site url? I seem to have lost it. Hope all is well. I'm geared up and ready to go. Best -Jon

Hi my friend, I just want to congratulate you for your exceptional pictures of my favorite band (Rush). You sure have a great talent and patience to achieve such a excellent work. My name is Jean (John in english), I'm 37 and from Quebec City, Canada. I'm married (Nathalie) with two children (Maxime and Samuel). I have seen about 45 shows of Rush since 1983. Ant it brings so many good memories to see all those pictures... You know, i went to see 6 Vapor Trails concerts in 2002. My father, who is 73 now, went to 2 concerts with me. He always said (since 1983) that he loves to listen to neil's drums (YYZ solo), I told him that he can come with me anytime to see Rush giving an extraordinary performance whenever he wants. So that was the second (Saratoga Spring) and third (Hershey) time that we saw Rush together, the first time was in 1984 (Quebec City). I just want you to know that Rush is part of my life for more than 20 years, and i'm very thankful for all the good times and memories (listening to their excellent music, go for a concert with friends,...) that they brought and they still bring to me. A friend from Quebec City, - Jean

HI, J man. Linked to your site through Different stages of Rush msn. I just wanted to thank you for all the great stories and photos that you have shared. I love how you have everyt ticket stub from all your events. anyways just wanted to say thanks for caring about RUSH , but How could you not they're the best. thanks Luvin Rush. Killer photos!!!! - Debbie, New Hampshire

Hello, and good day. Your site is kickin'. I've been ridin the RUSH since 2112. A couple years ago I picked up a Collection of Museum quality Lithographs of Album Art. They were made from plates that were signed by Neil, Geddy, and Alex.Band authorized and each comes with a certificate of Authenticity and numbered. (2500 made) I have 2112, and Power Windows. I am hoping to offer them to people who will appreciate them, and your site has people visiting who should know that these Lithographs exist, and are availible. Check them out at visualgallery.com/rush.html If your interested, we could do a banner swap or we could work something out in exchange for listing on your site. Peace. - Sean

Hey there Jordan, I would just like to say that I think you have the best Rush website on the internet. It's always great to check in here.. And by far the best quality pictures of any Rush site. keep up the great work. - steve

Hey jman2112! How's it goin' eh? Listen - the reason why I'm writing you is to tell you that your main page graphic with the title "Echoes of Old Applause" featuring Rush fans cheering to Rush at the Staples Center Vapor Trails concert contains a picture of me holding the almost empty beer! Beauty picture by the way! You caught my good side eh? I hope you don't mind but I borrowed that very same graphic and placed it on my very own website featuring Rush and my Rush road trip last September. Here's a link to my site. HERE. You can find your pic (I can give you credit for the pic if you like on my site by the way! - let me know) at the beginning of my Rush road trip pages. Take a look. I've got pictures of Rush on stage of my own to peruse as well. Great website eh? I'm happy to see you've got a lot of positive feedback from it. Take care... - Richard

Again, kudos on the best site for Rush info and photos I've come across. I'm from Toronto, have been going to see Rush since I first saw them open for Nazareth in '74, saw the boys at both VT shows, was lucky enough to get into the "Meet and Greet" in October and my buddy and I got our picture taken with Alex and Geddy. I've got it on my other computer, let me know if you want me to forward a copy to you. Last summer you were kind enough to email me a proper high resolution photo of the Big Money shot from your site. I was hoping you could do the same thing with the superb shot of Neil "pounding at Olympic Stadium" opening the photos from Brazil. If it's possible I'd be greatly indebted. Keep up the good work! It's much appreciated. - Gary

What an EXCELLENT Rush site!!!!! There as very interesting things about the band that you just can't find elsewhere. I had a very interesting vapor trails concert experience at the show in Bostson that I would like to share. I will send it in as soon as I have actually written it, but I didn't want to procrastinate on sending you a big thumbs-up on this FANtastic web site! Thanks for your time and talent O' DIGITAL MAN! - Smurrat
