"ONE LITTLE VICTORY" HITS ROCK RADIO IN APRIL
NORTH AMERICAN TOUR PLANNED FOR SUMMER/FALL
VAPOR TRAILS sees the legendary power trio - Geddy Lee, Alex
Lifeson, and Neil Peart - redefining their intensely individualistic
music, blending their famously complex dynamics with driving
melodic hooks and a passionate, personal lyrical approach. Tracks
like the kinetic "How It Is," the emotive "Sweet Miracle," and the
propulsive album-opening "One Little Victory" are angular,
atmospheric and altogether extraordinary. With the visionary new
VAPOR TRAILS, Rush has taken a bold step forward, making it clear
that one of rock 'n' roll's all-time great bands are more than just back,
they're better than ever.
The album will be heralded by the single, "One Little Victory," slated
to ship to rock radio outlets nationwide on March 29. The band is
currently finalizing plans for a major North American tour. Tentatively
set to kick off in late June, the trek will mark Rush's first live
performances since July 1997. The tour's first leg will be announced
shortly.
VAPOR TRAILS is Rush's 17th studio recording, and their first all-new collection in over 5 years. The Canadian trio's 22 albums have virtually all been certified CRIA platinum-or-better, with cumulative worldwide sales of over 35 million. The band were inducted into the Juno Awards Hall of Fame in 1994, received the esteemed Order of Canada in 1997 and were given their own star on the Canadian Walk of Fame in 1999.

3/30/02 - (post from bulletin board - Thanks Koz) I wish I was home to record it but I was in my car, but
anyone in the NYC area will get another chance Saturday night.
Eddie Trunk (WNEW 102.7) had a guest John (didn't get the last
name... Arch?) who I guess works for, or is associated in some
way with Atlantic records and played about 2 minute
samples of each of these songs. All were hard & progressive sounding,
and Geddy's singing is sounding energetic, especially on Earthshine.
There had to be at least a few people who got this down on tape,
so keep an eye out for links of this if not during Saturday, then
definitely on Sunday. John also mentioned (from memory) about
the upcoming tour. It will be an evening with Rush (no opening act)
and will begin on June 28th in Hartford, go further into New England
and then back to Jones Beach and Madison Square Garden.
3/27/02 - A DJ in Michigan at WRIFF played the single
"One Little Victory" three times before ANTHEM RECORDS and
their lawyers communicated to him that this was not authorized!
I heard the song at 6:30 p.m. today off a CD burned by an un-named
RUSH fan and liked it alot! Neil and Geddy are going off! You might
be able to find a bootleg copy of it on the net at

3/27/02 - Rumors are flying that the first show will be in Hartford,
CT, on June 28th, 2002. There was talk of the first show being in
upstate New York, typically where they kick off tours, and strangely,
maybe Paris, France. The Hartford rumor seems to be the most talked about.
