Calling all hungry Rush fans!

Got an appetite for a new Rush experience? How about a gastronomic Rush? Still going through tour withdrawls with no more shows to road trip to? Is the DVD release too far off to satisfy?

Then put on some classy casual upscale attire and attend the Famous Plates charity event in Toronto on May 14th, 2003 - dubbed as "An unforgettable evening of gourmet delights, inspired by famous entertainers and prepared by top Canadian chefs."

Translated, that means, well, you might get to be in the same room as Alex Lifeson and watch him eat. How exciting! I mean, the fare at the Orbit Room is pretty good, but it's never a guarantee that Alex might be there! The event goes down at The Liberty Grand, 25 British Columbia Road, Exhibition Place. Cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will be served ala Alex at 7:15. It is yet to be announced whether or not the Tiki Bar will be open to the public.

The event is benefitting The White Ribbon Campaign, the JYD Project and the Canadian Parapalegic Association Ontario. All proceeds will be donated to these organizations.
